It was a hard fought nail biter to the very end, both teams giving it their all. The first half showed a little nerves on both sides, Novato leading by one at half time, 8-7. Drake heated up in the second half, taking a 7 point lead in the fourth quarter. But a quick 3 and another basket by Novato cut the lead to 2 in the last two minutes. Emma Purkey's free throw sealed the win for the Lady Pirates. Molly Carmody and Lauren Emge both had 10 points and Sophia Larsen added 9.
